Interior Focus: Cabin Management Systems
In the “Age of i-Everything,” cabin management systems have emerged as essential equipment for business aircraft. Passengers can now dim the lights, browse the Net, adjust the cabin temp, crank up the volume, enjoy the latest video release, and more, all while sitting comfortably in their seats.
Modern aircraft cabins, equipped with sophisticated arrays of electronics designed to keep passengers comfortable, entertained and in touch, are wonders to behold. But keeping all of today's cabin components in harmony requires an integrated, easy-to-use control hub.
Happily, there are plenty of choices available for operators who want to provide their passengers and flight crews truly seamless control of cabin lighting, audio/video, ventilation, temperature, flight information, and installed entertainment and air/ground connectivity suites. With PEDs, smartphones or tablets, passengers now can digitally manage their cabin experience from the comfort of their seats.
